Life Painting & Drawing School
I have been running my life drawing classes in London - Life Painting
& Drawing with Rachel Clark - since 1976. They are for people of all
abilities.
You are welcome at my life drawing school as a beginner or an advanced
student, whether your interest in life drawing and painting is for pleasure
or for professional reasons. Life drawing courses are useful whatever
it is you wish to draw or paint. Life drawing and painting equips you
to work effectively from any subject; it is invaluable for artists at
all levels.
Life Drawing Classes - What Happens
In the life drawing classes I work with people on an individual basis
according to their needs and my first aim is to teach students how to
see and describe the structure and rhythms of the body. You will become
more aware of exactly what you are looking at and how you might interpret
it in terms of line/tone/colour. I do not impose a style of working on
students. It is important that your own unique form of expression is developed,
encouraged by the one-to-one tuition you receive in my classes. More details

The teaching will be appropriate whatever your standard or ability. You
will find the atmosphere encouraging and supportive, focussed to help
you move your work onto another level.
Students from abroad as well as from all over the UK attend my life drawing
courses in London, near Canary Wharf. I am a professional artist and open
up my large, light, fully-equipped studio for life drawing courses once
a month. The studio is easily reached by bus, tube or DLR - see directions.
My life classes are small to ensure maximum personal tuition. There are
never more than nine in a class.
